Baby Michelangelo

OK, maybe not! But I was mightily impressed with the boy’s latest drawings. This is, by far, the best cat I’ve seen him draw! And the Baby and Mommy drawing was definitely well thought out! He knows that mommy eats for the baby and what she eats is ‘sent’ down to the baby. In this picture (yellow), past the stomach, the baby is eating spaghetti! The baby is drawn anatomically correct! I love it!





He’s also getting a lot better at coloring in the lines! Witness the 'coloring' of the cat drawing. Also notice the tear in the cat drawing. The boy seems to get upset if he makes a mistake! He started drawing one of the lines for the ear a bit too long. He realized, got upset, exaggerated the line, tore the drawing in half and stopped drawing altogether! Sounds like prodigy behavior to me! lol!

Rockin Lamb?

Big Daddy took Lil Daddy to church yesterday, while I stayed home battling the flu. I was so happy when I got a full report that Lil Daddy was on great behavior during Mass.. he read along a bit in the missalette, ate his snacks (snacks are absolutely essential), sang a bit and asked some questions. Big Daddy had it tough, one of the questions was "how does Jesus stay up on the Cross?". Reply? "he was nailed to the Cross". No further questions, Lil Daddy seemed to accept that at face value, for now anyway. During the "Agnus Dei/Lamb of God", Lil Daddy asked why Jesus is called a Lamb. Big Daddy replied that Jesus offered himself as a sacrifice, just like a lamb. BD continued.. and we are all lambs, Jesus is our shepherd. To which, I'm told, Lil Daddy easily replied: I'm not a lamb, I'm a rockstar!

La di Da di, we like to potty!

It’s been a week since Rock Band has been in the house! 16 days since lil’daddy started wearing undies. I believe it’s been at least a few days since we’ve had even a minor potty incident. All is well!
