38.5 week update
I've been quite remiss is (a) blogging and (b) emailing my aunt with updates. So, Aunt, I hope this can be two updates in one!
We've been busy over the last few weeks. The nursery is finally done and ready. Big Daddy did an awesome job converting the room into a calming haven for our newborn. I've done several loads of laundry and the baby's drawers are stocked and ready. I can't believe the number of onesies that we had for Lil Daddy, but I seem to remember going through a lot (baby spit up!), so I washed them all.
I've made the decision to try for a vbac. Long decision process, but I'm calm and peaceful with the decision to at least try. We've contracted with a doula, who has been a great resource, so far. She'll be with us through the birth, whether a v. or a ces. birth. My doc won't let me go much past 40.5 weeks, if labor doesn't start naturally at that point, I'll have to schedule a c-section. With my history of the first one being two weeks late, I'm hoping and praying that this one progresses naturally.
Lil Daddy is loving playing outside, now that the spring weather is here in full force. He can ride his tricycle for hours!!!
That's my update in a nutshell. More soon!
