Lil'daddy's Southern Vocabulary
YES pronounced Yeah-es
HEAD pronounced Heay-ad
BELL pronounced Bay-el
THERE pronounced Thay-er
(Hard a's for the soft e sound now that I think of it...)
There are a host of others as well. It's too cute when he talks this way, but I can't figure out where this comes from. While it may be true that I may not always remember to distinctly annunciate all the letters in my words, I haven't started throwing extra syllables in! :) I have an aunt who moved down to Louisianna that has developed a twang and a different way of pronounciation. I think she'd really get a kick out of it!

Yee haw! You've got yourself a little southern gentleman! Way to go, Lil'daddy!
How cute! My kids do that too, but it stands to reason for us. Wonder if he'll keep that up for a while? Interesting...
