Yet Another B&N Trip (pic)
We still love Barnes & Noble! lil'daddy is really enjoying the Magic Tree House series lately. lil'bro just sat on my lap and watched all the boy and girls reading their books. He was SO good. lil'bro just sat looking around while lil'daddy read about two and a half chapters of The Knight at Dawn! We are tremendously blessed with both lil'daddy and lil'bro but and an extra prayer of praise and thanks are due for bestowing lil'bro with the type of demeanor that would allow him to just sit and "hang out". I know this time will go quick. What a blessing it is now!

BTW lil'daddy's introduction to the Magic Tree House series was by way of the Wendy's Kid's meal promotion. An audiobook was included in the Kid's Meals. We went once a week, for 4 weeks, until we had all 4 CD's. I think this was by far the best Kids Meal promotion I've heard of!
Our library system has a large selection of the audiobooks as well as the books in print. We've since listened to the Audiobooks for books 1-10 and 28. We've read at least 5 or 6 books from the series as well. I had been trying to get lil'daddy into chapter books for a while now. Because of the Wendy's promotion, we kind-of "fell right in" to them. As you might have guessed, we've also bought a few in our B&N trips.
