I will completely be the first to admit that I don't follow soccer and I only caught the tail end of the World Cup game today. But I work with a good number of team members that are in Europe and Asia Pacific and I've gotten caught up in their excitement a bit. And I'm an Italian-American (American Italian?), so....

I'd cheer for Uganda if they were playing the French. (no offense meant to Uganda) French forwards and mid-fielders played one heck of an game, though.
I only follow soccer once a year during the world cup. Enough to follow the US Italy and Brazil. (I was into Soccer when Pele played for the Cosmos)
It's good to see Italy as wold cup champions again! Go Italia!
