"Hi. I'm a mac."
And in the parts bin, is PC. PC got a little hot under the collar with all the pictures and video editing I asked him to do. It must've been eating him up that I wasn't doing more important work these days. When we first met we kept trim'n'fit with analyses and graphics intensive work. PC's 17" screen and raw power were sights to behold. Maybe it was the menial tasks of collecting email, blog posting and web surfing that was the last straw. Back in February or March, PC's video card fried. PC was a laptop and being such was not a prime candidate for the invasive surgery required to get back on his feet. PC, for a long time I missed you and didn't know how I'd get along without you. While I enjoyed our time together and I wish you rest in peace, I will not miss you anymore.
Finally, there's a new dog in town. He may only have a 13" screen but his resolution is nice on the eyes. And speaking of nice on the eyes, his slim white polycarbonate shell is not so bad either. With a Core 2 Duo and dual Layer DVD-R he's no pretty boy trailer queen. I don't want to turn this into a "whatever you can do, he can do better". Suffice to say, he's a mac.
