Just Another Day Around My Way

Ooooo, la la laaa... - Got that song in my head!

I felt guilty about not posting that often so I thought I leave this quick note...
It was a good day today. Daddy, pop-pop and lil'daddy spent some time this AM at Gander Mountain looking at the stuffed animals and some big boy toys that Daddy can't afford! :)

On the way to the hardware store to get paint, from the back seat, I hear John's first whistle! With lips pursed he was blowing in and out. With all that air going back'nforth he squeaked out a whistle! I looked in the rear view and he had an ear to ear smile!!! I was so excited! I coaxed him on some more and sure enough he managed an encore performance. I wish we could have recorded it somehow.

While still praying and trying to find ways to keep daily life an open prayer, I've not really felt I had the time for any "deep" posts. (they take a while for me to write) I'll leave two pictures that were taken today. The first photo is of lil' daddy's new Old Navy shirt; It's soo soft and warm AND it was like $4! The second photo was taken in Gander Mountain. $1400 for a 50cc Quad seems a bit excessive. Daddy's first bike was a 50cc two-wheeler that came with two "parts-bikes". That's six wheels for like 50 bucks :> Daddy was also 5 or 6 years older than lil' daddy at the time. What possibilities the future holds!
