Awfully...
My son has taken to using the word "awfully", in the mode of Christopher Robin & Winnie the Pooh. (Disclaimer: he rarely watches Pooh)
Some examples:
"I'd awfully like a cookie now".
"We awfully should go to the park".
"That would be awfully nice of you Daddy".
I can't pinpoint the word he intends to use: Is it "really"? Is it just to for emphasis? Either way, it is rather funny to hear my 3 1/2 year old have this word in his vocabulary. What a silly-old-boy he is!

1 Comments:
'Awfully' sometimes replaces "often". Sometimes it replaces "also". He hardly ever uses it with a negative conotation describing something bad or awful and a good number of times he includes it for emphasis, in place of "very".
